Your first flight is exciting — and the better you prepare, the more fun (and safer) it gets.
1. Get a good night's sleep
A rested body lets you enjoy the flight fully. Skip the alcohol the night before.
2. Eat a light meal
Have something light 1–2 hours before your flight. Not too full, not too hungry.
3. Dress for the sky
Snug clothing, ankle-high shoes, and tied-back hair. Wind up there is stronger than you'd expect.
4. Pay attention to the briefing
Before take-off, your pilot will explain the run-up stance, hand signals, and safety procedure. Listen carefully — it's the key to flying with confidence.
5. Breathe deep and enjoy
Once you're airborne, let go. Take in the view, snap some photos, and feel a kind of freedom you won't find anywhere else.
